CSV column compare takes one key column from file A and one from file B, then lists unique values that appear only in A, in both files, or only in B. It compares keys — not full rows — so duplicate keys in a file count once in the result sets. Blank keys are excluded from classification and counted separately. This helps you reconcile ID lists, email exports, and inventory codes without uploading data.
Results are unique key values in first-seen order. only-in-a.csv uses CSV A’s column header; only-in-b.csv uses CSV B’s header; in-both.csv uses the header “value”. Comparison is case-sensitive and whitespace-sensitive unless you enable optional trim. Values like “001” and “1” stay different.
CSV is processed in the browser and not uploaded to BizNavi Hub for column comparison. Leaving or refreshing the page clears in-memory files.
Input supports UTF-8 and UTF-8 with BOM. If UTF-8 decoding fails, some browsers can read Shift_JIS. Output defaults to UTF-8 with BOM for safer Excel interoperability; plain UTF-8 is available.
We allow two files up to 20 MB each (30 MB combined), 200,000 rows, and 200 columns per file so browsers stay stable. Split larger datasets first if needed.
This tool does not open Excel workbooks (.xlsx), does not fuzzy-match near-duplicates, does not compare multi-column composite keys in this phase, and does not convert arbitrary encodings beyond UTF-8 and best-effort Shift_JIS. Very large files may fail on low-memory devices.
