What this checks

Online offers and distance sales may need specified product information, CE or label information, the declaration, safety instructions, and a passport or data carrier where the applicable rules already require it. If the product-specific passport duty is not active, a missing carrier stays pending rather than a failed display. Marketplace interface readiness is a separate check.

How results work

Missing CE, label, declaration, safety, or interface facts are an evidence gap. A passport that is not yet applicable is an offer review. A missing carrier while the duty is unclear stays pending. Neither an online offer nor a distance sale stays in review.

Dates used in this screen

Regulation (EU) 2024/3110 entered into force on 2025-01-07. Main provisions apply from 2026-01-08. Product families still move one by one, and the 2011 regulation is scheduled for repeal in 2039. A roadmap target around 2027-Q2 is not a legal deadline.

Limitations

No mandatory passport display is created while the product-specific act is still open.

Start with the product family

Say whether the listing is an online offer, a distance sale, or both.

Leave unknown acts open

Keep CE and label visibility separate from the passport carrier.

Readiness is not approval

A ready result means the known information is located. It is not approval of the listing.

Questions

Must every listing show a passport?

Only where the applicable rules already require it. Otherwise the passport item stays pending or an offer review.

What if there is no online channel?

If neither an online offer nor a distance sale is present, the result stays in review rather than a clearance.

Does this store drawings or declarations?

No. Only the selected categories and the ruleset version can be saved.

Can the application date move every product?

No. Families migrate individually. If the harmonised specification or family status is missing, the result stays a transition review.
