Explore World Bank indicators by topic, economy, and year

Twelve indicators across every economy the World Bank publishes. Each figure carries the year it refers to, the provider code it was requested under, and the date we retrieved it.

Browse by topic

Every indicator has its own page with a trend, a ranking, the observations behind them, and a CSV export.

Find an indicator or an economy

Search by indicator name, World Bank indicator code, economy name, or ISO3 code.

Search runs in your browser. What you type is never sent to us and never recorded.

All indicators

Twelve series: eleven the World Bank publishes under the code shown, and one BizNavi Hub computes.

Every World Bank indicator code above has been checked against the provider's own catalogue. The trade balance is marked as a BizNavi Hub calculation rather than a World Bank series. Figures are published on the Global Economy dashboard with their period, their source, and the date we retrieved them.

Economies

One page per economy, with the latest published figure for each indicator that covers it.

All economies · 217 economies

World Bank aggregates such as World or High income are excluded: they are roll-ups, not countries.

How these figures are prepared

Every explorer page reads stored World Bank observations. A ranking or trend uses one stated year or year range for every economy shown. Aggregates such as World or High income are excluded from country pages. A missing figure is left out — it is never filled with zero and never estimated on this site.

The World Bank revises series on its own schedule. The freshness line shows when BizNavi Hub last refreshed the store, which is not the same as the year a series refers to.

Related Insights

Insights turn one stored indicator into a single-year ranking with deterministic facts — highest, lowest, top three, median, average, and year-to-year movement — without causal claims.

Compare several economies at once

The Global Economy dashboard puts one indicator across a set of economies on a single trend, comparison, and ranking.

Latest available World Bank data

Every figure is the most recent annual value the World Bank has published for that economy. This is not a live or real-time feed: the World Bank revises its series on its own irregular schedule, and this page shows what our last refresh retrieved.
