What this checks

The planner uses two approved dates only. Member States transpose Directive (EU) 2024/2853 by 2026-12-09. The new framework is for products placed on the market or put into service after 2026-12-08. The workflow is inventory, date classification, operator role, software and modification review, evidence readiness, then a national transposition check. If national law is not verified, the result is a national-law check. No Member State date is invented.

Dates used in this screen

Member States must transpose Directive (EU) 2024/2853 by 2026-12-09. The new liability framework is for products placed on the market or put into service after 2026-12-08. Earlier products remain with the previous framework. National transposition is not filled in here.

Limitations

Do not read 2026-12-09 as the placing boundary. That deadline is transposition. The scope boundary remains the day before.

Which dates appear?

Only 2026-12-09 for transposition and 2026-12-08 as the scope boundary. The uncorrected journal text that said after 2026-12-09 is not used as the placing date.

What if a Member State has not published its law?

Keep the national-law check. Do not copy another country's date or infer the missing rule.

Does this store documents or names?

Where do national rules fit?

If implementation in a Member State matters and is not verified, the result stays a national-law check. No national date is invented.
